Pours dark brown almost black with creamy brown head. Smells of dried fruits, roasted malts, and nuts. Taste has a metallic tinge to it, caramel malts, drive fruit, light bitter, and coffee. More or less pitch black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nuts, some alcohol, a bit sugary along with some raisins and ripe fruits. Flavour is raisins, sweet ripe fruits, alcohol, nuts and some strange kind of sweetness.
Bottle from Andover Liquors, dark brown black tan head. Sweet brown sugary nutty aroma and flavor. Nice beer, although the flavor is a bit subtle, I was expecting something along the lines of Southern Tier Creme Brulee.

Bottle. Pours a velvet-Elvis-painting matte black with a high, medium brown, lacy head. Nose is coffee, smoke, pie crust, and unsweetened chocolate. Savory on the front of the tongue, with the brown sugar and pecans hitting in a huge wave immediately afterwards, followed by strong espresso (pie and a cup of coffee, anyone?). Bottle at Yespr’s. It pours darkest brown/near black with a small tan head. The nose is roasty, toast, nut, caramel, earth, treacle, faint liquorice and a lick of smoke. The taste is light roast, toast, earth, pecan, caramel, pecan pie, earth and a touch of must. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced and rather drinkable.
