A very smooth, milky porter. Pours a thick black with a light tan head. Smells like milk chocolate and pecans. More in the taste, very creamy, smooth and a sweet finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - FEB 23, 2014
23 feb 2014, bottle. Nose is faint burnt toast, serious raisin bread, burnt cocoa. Thin/med body and mildly fizzy. Fresh roasted malt, burnt toast, raisins. Pretty good.

Bottle. Not much pecan in the nose. Just kind of brown ish. A hint of sugar. Taste is similar but has a light roasty character to it. Ok but not something I would think had pecans in it or seek out again MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - FEB 22, 2014
Bottle. Black, brown head. Aroma of cocoa beans, mild coffee and roasted malts. Sweet and mild in flavour. Bitterness is very well balanced. I’d drink a lot of this if served, but I’d be missing something to make me feel saturated. Beerhunter111 (21441) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 19, 2014

Bottle: The aroma consists of chocolate, molasses, light caramel, burnt notes, coffee, and a touch of nuts. It pours a dark brown with some faint orange highlights and a two finger khaki head. There’s a soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with dark chocolate and molasses. The finish has some burnt notes, roasted coffee, some roasted nuts, and a hint of alcohol. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall, I got some nuttiness, but I can’t say this makes me think of a pecan pie. It’s more reminiscent of an Imperial Stout than a Porter. anders37 (26699) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2014
Bottle @ yespr. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty nutty pecan aroma with hints of chocolate. Roasted malty sweetish nutty pecan flavor. Has a roasted malty sweetish nutty pecan and chocolate finish. Maverick34 (3250) - New York, USA - FEB 9, 2014
Dark brown pour with medium foam from bottle. Deep nutty roasted malts. Similar taste with pecan tinge. Rather good. bigbish (712) - California, USA - FEB 7, 2014
This is a very nice porter. Pours very dark, nice thick head that hangs around. Very heavy roasted notes. I don’t get much pecan out of it, but it’s delicious none the same. Weezel (272) - Florida, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Nice aroma of roasted barley and a ver pitch black color. A little dark for a porter. Taste is sweet but lacks that nice porter lightness that makes it so appealing. Clean toasty finish that is probably the best part.
