I’m just coming into the world of Porters. This one was excellent and full of flavor. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2013
Aroma: Nutty, roasted aroma with hints of soy sauce.
Appearance: Dark brown, almost black, with a chocolaty tan head.
Taste: Medium sweetness with hints of bitterness at the edges.
Palate: Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long finish.
Overall: It’s a rich, robust beer. I’m not sure I taste the pecan pie, but there is a slightly nutty flavor that adds to this beer. Really well done. Cool_Bond (2650) - KUNG_AV_OL @ Instagram, SWEDEN - SEP 12, 2014
Incredibly good smell of chocolate and coffee. Lovely coffee flavor is what strikes me. Wonderful bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Truly a easy porter to drink. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings. portableparty (2347) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 5, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown/black with a nice frothy soapy khaki head that settles to a film and lacing. Aroma is roasted malt nuts and a mild burnt sugar scent/caramel malt. Taste is straight forward roasted toasted malt some nuttiness and sweet toasted caramel malt and spice. Palate is full and slick with a drying finish. Really nice porter that is straight forward and nothing over the top, but good. saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, nuts, caramel, coffee, chocolate and hops. Nice and smooth.

Schwarzer Porter mit verhaltener, bräunlicher Schaumbildung. Ein weiniges Röstmalzaroma vom Feinsten. Sanfter, geschmeidiger Antrunk.
22 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter. Poured dark brown, nearly black, with a light brown head. The head soon reduces to a durable partial coat and ring. Moderate lacing.
Smells sweet and delicious. Some pecan pie filling with cinnamon. Moderately strong. Only faint grains.
Less sweet than it smells, there’s a solid layer of medium and dark roasted grains with a bit of caramel and dark chocolate. A hint of roasted pecans, but wuite faint, as is the coffee in the finish. Near equal sweet/bitter by the finish.
Medium body; very good carbonation level; very smooth. Dry finish.
O: Lightly boozy nose and feel, but still drinks like 4-5% ABV brew. A distinct, remarkably smooth Amer. Porter. Recommended. thewolf (12535) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark black with a fine creamy, beige head. Good duration. Aroma has sweet malts, liqourice, chocolate, clear pecan, light milky. Medium carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has light roasted malts, nutty, smooth milky chocolate. Good sweet elegance. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - OCT 16, 2013
Pours black with brown head and nice lacing. Beautiful appearance. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, and hazelnut. Taste is the same with pecan notes and bitter chocolate. Good body, not thin. Rating might be a little high, but this is one of my favorite styles and combinations. jstonerock24 (142) - Englewood, Ohio, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Pours black with a nice light brown head. Very roasted nutty flavor and aroma with a rich sweet finish. Great tasting porter
