Aroma has pecan, vanilla, brown sugar, cream, and a little metallic funk that breathed off after a minute. Flavor has vanilla, nuts, and a little coffee, with a really creamy mouthfeel. Roast coffee bitterness in the finish. Really good. Camons (12435) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2014

From the bottle, deep brown with a thin but persistent tan foam. Chocolate and nuts and maybe a touch of charcoal. Body is full of smokey wood, chocolate, and a smooth buttery pecan finish. wlajwl (6801) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Aroma is yeast, nutty/roasted malts and spices. The flavor is nutty malts, a definite sweetness, an undercurrent of the roasted pecans and a mix of tart and smooth in the finish. rougeau13 (3006) - Richmond, Texas, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Very, very dark brown with a tan head and nice lacing. Aroma of roast, pecans, and mocha. Taste is full of mocha and bitterness. Medium bodied and a little creamy. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - DEC 13, 2012
22 ounce bottle poured a dark brown color, almost black, aromas of light chocolate, pecans, caramel, and some light brown sugar. Flavors are the same, blended nicely. This was a real enjoyable beer. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Pours dark unclear with a decent beige head. The aroma brings some spices from the fall, but not pecans persay. The flavor brings a toasted malty porter with some bitter hoppy notes as well. The flavor of the pecans are not prevalent and there is some sweetness, not necessarily brown sugar though.
