Pours burnt umber with a small, creamy yellowish white head. Smells of caramel and light grassy hops. Taste is sweet, subtle, and a touch bitter. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and lightly active mouth-carbonation, Clown Shoes Let My People Go finishes with a tiny touch of bitterness. dwyerpg (6076) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 12, 2012
A light Sierra Nevada like aroma. Had fairly warm. Some nice hops, fairly smooth. A pretty unassuming beer. Good. dbhenry (139) - El Paso, Texas, USA - JUN 16, 2014
This outstanding ale is medium to full bodied. It is amber in color with a nice head. Its strength is in the wonderful malt tastes. The hops are substantial and well balanced with the malt. Overall, this is an excellent ale. dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2012
rater #10! Woot. Bottle from Choice Beverages in McKinney. Pours a deep copper/mahogany with a medium off white head. The aromas are biscuit, cocoa, malt. The mouthfeel is dry with a strong malt presence and a medium body with good carbonation. I actually liked this one! Cheers! suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - SEP 25, 2013
Amber colored pour. Big white head. Tons of lacing. A spicy malty aroma. Spicy, woody, malt flavor. Some hints of Brett sp. Pretty damn good.

Pours deep amber into a Sam glass. Off-white micro head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets to skim surface. Caramel and resin aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel and toasted nuts upfront turning to a mildly bitter and earthy resin finish. SSSteve (4006) - - AUG 11, 2013
bottle. murky amber with a small head. dusty, tart, bretty aroma with crystal malt. light bodied and dry. its been inoculated with brett, so bootsy collins funky flavas dominate. think rayon vert with a healthy dose of mid range crystal malt. i like it. could also be listed under belgian ale. annunz123 (957) - Taunton, Massachusetts, USA - APR 10, 2013
Caramel and dark fruit in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a little flowery bitterness in the finish. Better than I expected. krisolson (57) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Really good beer. Great flavors with nice hops. No lingering aftertaste that a lot of ales can leave. The amber color makes the beer appealing to drink. GTownBeer (22) - Texas, USA - JAN 14, 2013
Deep amber, great thick foam head. Has a almost rye character. Very easy to put down. From the wall, it did the trick. Another one bites the dust. shared with Grambo after our brew day.
