Bottle from Liz. Pours black with a 3.5 finger creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and resin. Med body. Flavor is roasty dark malt with some light pine. There might be some zest in here. There is certainly a lot of intense flavor. So it’s complex of course! chrisv10 (18708) - DENMARK - JAN 28, 2012

Batch from 02/2012. It poured a frothy, creamy light head which lasted quite a while. The body is as advertised, black. The aroma was a light malt roast, slightly herbed, with a touch of caramel. The taste was a lovely roast, a smooth, thin, well carbonated body with a medium bitter aftertaste. The aftertaste was really pleasant, often reminding of a crisp coffee.
