Bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor of bourbon, chocolate, oak, vanilla, a hint of coffee and had some light chili pepper spices. Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 20, 2016
Bottle. Pours midnight brown with a thin white head that dissipates. Big boozy stout with a hint of chili burn that fades quicker than I'd like.

Appearance and aroma are nothing special, but the flavor is divine. Judicious use of the booze barrels are subtlety evident and supportive of the bolder coffee, cocoa, black malt, flavors. Perfect palate. Fairly drinkable. LilBeerDoctor (3930) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2016
On tap. Pours brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, sweet malt, nougat. Flavor of bourbon, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate malt. I don’t really get any of the chile notes, just lots of bourbon. Ok.

650ml bottle from Cork Keg & Spirits, brought by bananabi11, cellared for 2 months and shared with him at cellar temperature. Thx E! Chasing Clown Shoes, so a bit of a white whale. Black pour, brown head. Aroma has chocolate, caramel light chile, truffles. Taste is sweet caramel, dark chocolate, some roast. Medium to full bodied. Low carbonation. Blend is good. Some alcohol. The light chile is an interesting addition. Finishes well mixed between bitter and sweet. Clown shoes has really nice stouts. Big fan! 15

Bottle. The pour is dark with lacing. The aroma is chocolate and spice. The taste is nice. Not a lot of spice which I was glad, but warming. Not a ton of barrel. A solid beer.
