Bottle. Poured a clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy tropical and small hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium tropical sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations. crossovert (14354) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2015
650ml bottle. Hazed golden pour, foamy white head. 6.5%, its an imperial koelsch. Has a nice mango candy aroma, maybe a touch artificial, nostalgic if anything. Flavor is refreshing, just basically a mango soda, not too sweet, not really a koelsch, proper categorization here. slowrunner77 (13591) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Whoa - the nose is all juicy mango at first. Did not expect this level of awesome fruit. There are some hops as it opens that increase the complexity with just a touch of bitter and some non-mango citrusy fruit. Body is perfect for this beer, light and crisp, though it does seem like there are more hops here than a traditional kolsch. It all works together to very a ridiculously refreshing surprise. I’d be all over this every summer if they do the 4-pack format. deyholla (12801) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2016
