650 ml bottle. Hazy orange with white head. Smell is grapefruit bitter with lemon zest and sweet spicy Belgian yeast. Taste is bitter grapefruit with sweet tropical fruit, zest and spices. Dry with high bitterness and medium carbonation. This is much like a double IPA, but with some Belgian yeast and spices. darb85 (277) - Canton, Michigan, USA - DEC 16, 2014

22 oz bomber poured into tulip. Very yeasty and alcohol aroma. Minimal head on it. Tastes very yeasty and heavy alcohol prescence. Good, but wouldn’t do a bomber solo again probably. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2014

Deep golden colour with a mediumsized fluffy/foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty (spicy) with some sweet malts, mild zestiness as well as some slight hints of alcohol. Flavour is quite similar, with a bunch of citrus and some bitterness to it.
Aroma has marzipan and amaretto notes reminiscent of a British barley wine. sweet flavour with a discrete hop bitterness. Some sherry similarities in flavour. Does not feel like an IPA at all despite the description. Pyrmir (5984) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2014
On tap at O’Connors. Hazy orange with off white head. Aroma of lemon, alcohol, malt and fruit. Taste is alcoholic, caramel, malt, slight marmalade, apricot and other fruity hops. patricks110 (2486) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 29, 2014
An interesting American take on a Belgian strong ale. Pours a dark burgundy with a light beige head. The nose is lightly toasted, caramel, nuts and mild toffee. A nice spice blend of cloves, coriander and green peppers. The middle has no sweetness, no hops to find and a bit of fruit. The finish has an overbearing Belgian yeast and estery profile with a boozy emphasis and light spiced notes. Very drinkable and palatable. Overall, a good brew.
