Pours a murky, dark gold; white head with good lacing. Piney and dank hop aromas dominate but Belgian yeast does come through; slightly musty. Sweet, tropical hops mesh with yeast phenolics and a soft, bitter finish. Full bodied, medium carbonation.
Bottle 0,65. Pours slightly hazy golden, with small white head. Honey sweet, tropical fruits, some yeast, earthly. Medium body and average carbonation. kevinator (2176) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Nice big Belgian beer. Grainy malt with a lot of hops, yeast and earthy. Pretty color with a big head. Some citrus as well. Spab (3783) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2017
650 ml bottle from the Bishop’s Cellar. Pours a murky dull golden orange with modest-sized whiteish head. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit, candy sugar, light spiciness and a little herbal character. Flavour has Belgian yeatiness, lemon drops, orange peel, candy sugar and some spicy, herbal notes. Really no booziness to speak of. Quite nice. Svesse (8578) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2016
(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, dried fruit, spicy/perfumy yeast and candied fruit. Malty, fruity taste with orange peel, dried apricots, spicy yeast, dried fruit, perfume, candy sugar and a generous peppery, citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. A bit boozy and intense to be in perfect harmony, but quite tasty. Nice one. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2016
[Bottle (660ml) shared w/ HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Big Red] Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a small semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing. Yeasty and hoppy aroma, fruity as well. Flavour’s the same, yeasty, hoppy and fruity along with an average bitter finish. Alcohol is relatively well hidden. Average bodied. Pretty good.

650 ml bomber bottle at abv 10.5% bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.
Looks: Cloudy hazy amber honey colour with a layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; One and a quarter finger head with crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with near zero carbonation.
Aroma: Fragrant and sweet rich Ale malt, with candied fruits, grapefruits, dark fruits, vanilla, light perfume, orange, strong caramel, toffee, floral nectar, honey, pine, strong resins, strong spices, strong yeast, lemon and grass.
Taste: Mid to strong sweet rich Ale malt, with candied fruits, grapefruits, strong caramel, potent alcohol, liquorices, floral, strong molasses, strong pine, strong resins, strong dark bread, strong yeast, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and grass.
Body: Full body. Creamy and very oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Very rich Ale maltyness in a thick and smooth background. Solid candied fruits and hoppy but blurry grapefruit dominate. Strong caramel, strong but nice molasses sweetness. Piney and oozy but somehow a step down from most IIPAs, Yeasty as hell, very dry dark bread with strong lemon to round. A bit rough but solid as a rock!
Booze: The 10.5% abv is omnipresent but come across as light and fairly tasty, never harsh or warm at any time. The liquorices is also quite mild. Coupled with fair malty molasses, this make very easy drinking and dangerous!
Hoppiness: Grapefruits, orange, floral nectar, pine, strong resins, lemon and grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is quite strong for a lasting, close to high astringent oozy malty finish.
After Taste: Dry. Rich, oozy and very floral bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one’s Bel yeast traded the usual banana for candied fruits and some dark fruits to compliment the rich Ale malty IIPA base, which in itself is expressive without being overwhelming in resin ooze and sweetness. With a well-managed booze profile, this one is a nice easy going Belgian IIPA. I bet it will taste even better if there is banana and tropical fruit esters to show up the malt even more!
Bottle shared by Colin & Kendra at tasting. Hazy peachy orange, small white head that descends to a wisp. Nice aroma of candied orange, dried apricot, Belgian yeast esters. Flavour - tropical fruit, sweet orange, earl grey tea, grapefruit peel finish. Not too shabby! Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUL 29, 2016
Pours a light, hazy peach colour with massive frothy head. Smells like candied fruit for sure and some peach and orange notes mixed in. Tastes is very complex. Hits you with bubblegum and candied fruit instantly then just as fast changes to sweet peachy, citrus flavours. Has a medium body with quite a dry carbonated finish. Didn’t even realize it was 10%. Very unique beer. melush (3941) - SPAIN - JUN 17, 2016

A: Golden orange.
T: Malt, yeast, citrusy, fruity. artemb (904) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - JUN 7, 2016
Clear amber, white head, average retention.
Aroma: sweet citrus, grape peel, rotten orange.
Taste: bitter and sweet
Flavour: bergamot, caramel, toffee, sweet fat cheese, sweet caramel and malty notes.
Long zesty-sweet finish with prominent alcohol.
Overall impression: Grog with lemon.
It seems more like imperial IPA then like belgian-style beer. Not sure what is "belgian" here.
Good and not an easy drink.
