Clown Shoes may come from MA, but this brew is undoubtedly brewed in the spirit of the West Coast. Space Cake is a dank, juicy IPA that's strictly for hopheads. This brew pours a hazy copper-orange. Grassy, floral, piney, tropical, and cannabis-like aromatics. Citrusy and resinous flavors. Hops have a bit of that garlicky flavor. Oily textures and lots of bitterness. This is definitely one of my favorites from Clown Shoes so far. angoradad (10) - USA - OCT 16, 2017
Pours light amber with a fair head and medium lacing. Aroma is of citrus and clover. Taste is initially fruity then moves to hoppiness. Hop profile carries through to aftertaste. Flavorful beer that lacks a unique impact. ZacM612 (750) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - SEP 28, 2017
Hazy amber color with a lacing head. Citrusy aroma. Smooth and malty with a strong citrusy hop finish. Nice. andrepintado (3609) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - SEP 27, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2017 66cl bottle. Hazy gold. Thin head. Medium bitterness and light sweetness. Dry body. Aroma is hops, orange, pine, resin, mango, peach, melon. DiarmaidBHK (5668) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 25, 2017
Draft at great road kitchen. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has some
citrus notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Solid but not spectacular.

Gran doble IPA amb l'alcohol absolutament camuflat. Perfecte per celebrar la Diada dels catalans (11 de setembre) ehaak26 (658) - - SEP 6, 2017
On tap at Captain Jack's. Aroma is juicy citrus hops with some malt backbone. Block (2950) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - AUG 12, 2017
A very nice IIPA. Good hops from the nose to finish. Not too sweet but it does have a sweet body. Good citrus flavors. Strong with a little alcohol coming through. captivaboy (32) - Captiva, Florida, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Strong malt presence, but smoothe and citrusy overtones make it great. Resinous and dank briefly, quite a different DIPA.

Pours burnt yellow with very little haze.
Nice head and lacing but not persistent and quickly faded.
Thick, crunchy, complex palate. Pungent bitterness up front, on the palate and during the wash.
Dry, with a very present 9% ABV alcohol.
A serious IPA with shoulders.
I find this beer terrific on many accounts, yet I prefer my IPA’s to be not so in your face over the top.
