Lightly hazed golden amber hue. Immaculate aroma if sweet lemon and pineapple. Sweet tropical smoothness followed by a strong crisp dryness. Delicious.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, ivory head, with moderate lacing, over an essentially clear amber. (SRM 8) body.......nose is moderate hops, with pine, resin, light fruits, mild toasted malts.....taste is slightly malt sweet, with light bread and cracker notes, mild fruit tones, light pine, slight resin, finishing with mild hop bitterness......mouth feel, medium, slightly sticky body, alcohol warmth present, low carbonation. This is a very easy drinking I/DIPA, but is rather light in malt and hop intensity in both aromas and flavors. It falls into the East Coast range. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6

Draft at Sunset Grill and Tap in Boston. Clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is candied orange, sweet bread. Sweeter flavor, balanced by decent citrus and fruity hops. Fairly full, syrupy. Good.

Clown Shoes may come from MA, but this brew is undoubtedly brewed in the spirit of the West Coast. Space Cake is a dank, juicy IPA that's strictly for hopheads. This brew pours a hazy copper-orange. Grassy, floral, piney, tropical, and cannabis-like aromatics. Citrusy and resinous flavors. Hops have a bit of that garlicky flavor. Oily textures and lots of bitterness. This is definitely one of my favorites from Clown Shoes so far.

angoradad (20) - USA - OCT 16, 2017
Pours light amber with a fair head and medium lacing. Aroma is of citrus and clover. Taste is initially fruity then moves to hoppiness. Hop profile carries through to aftertaste. Flavorful beer that lacks a unique impact.
