Bottled. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, citrusy hops, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices leading to a very bitter finish. fiveacestx (974) - Texas, USA - APR 27, 2012
Bomber - dark for an IPA and super cloudy! First taste was like a bad blind date: dry, bitter and ashy! Also, like a blind date, just not what I expected. Too malty for an IPA in my opinion. Pillowhead (3) - Peoria, Arizona, USA - APR 26, 2012 does not count
Decent IPA. Hoppy yet sweet at first taste (not quite balanced). Maltier than most IPAs I've tasted. Overall a good brew, but not one I would actively seek out again.

Bottle. Amber-colored, quite active, bubbles rising to a thin but quite firm head of tightly-packed foam. The aroma is surprisingly malty for a beer labeled IPA in America. Indeed, this drinks without the expected characteristics of most beers sold as an IPA on this continent ... rich, malty, almost bready. At the very finish of each quaff, I get a quick snap of tanginess, more apple orchard than hop farm. In a blind test, I think I might label this a fest, with a hoppy kick. Hmmm ... is my palate off here? (#4575, 4/27/2012) kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - APR 23, 2012
Pours hazy orange. Mild hop aroma and a medium bodied well balanced IPA. Pretty good American hop flavor (citrus) and decent malt flavors (nutty, biscuity)
