Pours a clear darker golden color with white head. Grass, hay, floral notes, and some light bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with plenty of malty flavors, bread, hay, cereal, and just a slight lingering pine note sneaks in. superspak (6359) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUL 13, 2016
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/10/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of peach, apricot, pear, white grape, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of peach, apricot, pear, white grape, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel and herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, apricot, pear, white grape, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice imperial Pilsner style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering. bhensonb (16110) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 3, 2016
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma suggests white berry fruit. Med body or better. Flavor is moderately bitter, bready malt in the background, white berry and pale stone fruits. A tad spicy - Saaz likely. It’s really good. Obfuscate (613) - Minneapolis, - JUL 15, 2016
Pretty heavy for a pale lager. Decent beer nonetheless. Which is a stupid word. marcus (10961) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 24, 2016
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours golden with a thick white head and a faint floral aroma. There is a hearty pils flavor with a very dry bitter finish. Lots of flavor for a pils. This beer seems a bit underrated.

On tap at Underground. Pours a fairly clear gold with a medium sized white head. Soft toast on the nose, a bit of malt. A touch fruity with some pineapple tones. Medium bodied, soft and grainy, with a bit of pineapple. Moves to a very grainy bitterness, lots of toast. Crisp and easy with a touch of sweetness.
