From a bottle. Very thin head, nice ruby red color. Decent but not spectacular version of a German dunkel lager. MRMedellin (297) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - OCT 9, 2013
When it’s served in the glass you can see a clear dark beer with a small and unstable foam head, and with a low carbonic gas content. The aroma is flat and doesn’t give you too much idea of what to wait from it. When it’s tasted the flavor is simple giving you a slight idea of roasted malt and nothing else. In my view if you have to try one of the club colombia beers better try the blonde one. Luvystypotables (1960) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 21, 2013
No aroma, nice dark colour, not much head. Smooth taste but no real flavor. Mild palate of yeast. kidobutai (686) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 14, 2013
Slight head, very dark appearance. A hint of chocolate, but unfortunately a larger hint of metal. Bitter aftertaste stays a little too long. mike5326 (1754) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 14, 2013
Poured from a can. Dark brown color, medium tan head. A slight skunk malt smell. Strong metallic taste with a faint roasted malt accent.

Club number three or four in Medellin I ordered this by accident. The same taste of chemicals that the roja has, confirming that indeed they didn’t spill a paint can full of bleach in one batch by mistake - it’s actually meant to taste like this. Brutal. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2013
0.33 L nottle shared by larsga. Densy ash-blond head. Clear, shiny deep reddish brown body. Burnt sugar and dark sweet chocolate aroma. The same goes for the flavor. Brown/burnt sugar and sweet chocolate. Quite thin. Short sugary finish. One-dimensional and a two tads too sweet. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2013
Small beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Roasty caramelly chocolate and sugar aroma with bready notes. Sweet roasty chocolate taste with raisiny notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish roasty perfumy aftertaste with raisiny notes. Artificial, and faintly hot. (0.33l bottle, from a colleague.) Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 13, 2013
canned; courtesy of Oliver Bieri - almost black beer with a poor head retention; vaguely toasted with notes of corn nd ashes; thin-bodied, harsh palate and with some bitterness; corny aftertaste with notes of burned ribbon KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 11, 2013
Even sweeter than the pale lager. A Schwatrzbier brewed under the influence of other intoxicants from the country?
