When itís served in the glass you can see a clear dark beer with a small and unstable foam head, and with a low carbonic gas content. The aroma is flat and doesnít give you too much idea of what to wait from it. When itís tasted the flavor is simple giving you a slight idea of roasted malt and nothing else. In my view if you have to try one of the club colombia beers better try the blonde one.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slight head, very dark appearance. A hint of chocolate, but unfortunately a larger hint of metal. Bitter aftertaste stays a little too long.

Poured from a can. Dark brown color, medium tan head. A slight skunk malt smell. Strong metallic taste with a faint roasted malt accent.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Club number three or four in Medellin I ordered this by accident. The same taste of chemicals that the roja has, confirming that indeed they didnít spill a paint can full of bleach in one batch by mistake - itís actually meant to taste like this. Brutal.

0.33 L nottle shared by larsga. Densy ash-blond head. Clear, shiny deep reddish brown body. Burnt sugar and dark sweet chocolate aroma. The same goes for the flavor. Brown/burnt sugar and sweet chocolate. Quite thin. Short sugary finish. One-dimensional and a two tads too sweet.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Small beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Roasty caramelly chocolate and sugar aroma with bready notes. Sweet roasty chocolate taste with raisiny notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish roasty perfumy aftertaste with raisiny notes. Artificial, and faintly hot. (0.33l bottle, from a colleague.)

Even sweeter than the pale lager. A Schwatrzbier brewed under the influence of other intoxicants from the country?

330ml can all the way from Colombia with big thanks to Deycy. Black with a reddish tint but no lasting head. Smells sweet, toasted and cereally like Shreddies and honey. Some fruitcake in there. Taste has some marzipan and burnt grassy notes. Quite well balanced but sweeter than it is bitter. Light and drinkable despite the dark appearance. I enjoyed this.
