Many 12oz bottles in Bogota. Perhaps the best "bad"’ beer in Colombia. Pours a clear amber with some thin, creamy head. Looks like Yuengling. Nose has malt, stale malt, yeast, mild fruit, some faint nuttiness. Flavor follows, some regular bread, mildly grist, some mild apple, lemon. watery finish. Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Club Colombia Extra Fina Roja, thanks to abemorsten. ABV is 4.7%. Orange to amber colour, low head. Moderate aroma, a little toffee and caramel, a little fruit and grain. The flavour has moderate notes of toffee and caramel, not as bad as I feared. Can courtesy of cgarvieuk dregs run.
Appearance - amber.
Nose - sweet toffee, possibly butterscotch.
Taste - light hay and brown sugar. Quite watery really.
Palate - it’s pretty close to water in body and texture. Maybe it’s healthy.
Overall - computer says no. luttonm (6276) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 8, 2017
Can in Bogota. Wilting foam on a clear red amber body. Slightly caramelized malt nose, cool sweet sip. Round sweet edges. Mild carb. Quite drinkable macro, and went well with my big pile of grilled meat last night. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Smells okay. This is a bit sweet with some caramel notes in the malt, but overall the flavor is a bit cloying and just not that great. Much prefer the original

Bottle at Craigs. Clear amberish golden. Nose is cereal, hay. Tastes similar, pretty tasteless cheap tasting lager. abemorsten (3615) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2012
Shared bottle at home kindly provided by a colleague and friend of the family. Marks another country sampled! Short lived tan colored film on a clear golden-orange body. Unpleasant, sweaty and floral aroma. Medium body and a syrupy texture. Malty sweet flavors and light notes of boiled vegetables. zebra (2141) - Illinois, USA - JUL 25, 2012
steered clear of the non-roja, but gave this one a try. not bad for a macrobrew. nuts, woody, basement aromas, average, creamy, rocky, golden, citrus, lively mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 7, 2016
Bottle, thank you banan! Pours in clear amber body with low to none head. Aroma has a lot of carame upfront, clean fermentation profile. Taste has high caramel sweetness, very low bitternress, almost none. Body is full, sticky, medium carbonation. mike5326 (1754) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Poured from a can. Light reddish color, small off white head. Syrup and sweet grain flavor with a medium syrupy finish.
