Looks like any other pale lager and smells like it too with a distinct aroma of its own... which I didn’t really like, but who needs to smell the beer anyway. The beer is not quite the perfect beer, but it as a nice dry flavor with a noticeable taste of grassy hops. Goes down pretty easy and is an enjoyable brew.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2012 After awhile in Colombia, outside of the Bogota Beer Company, which is only in Bogota, this will be the only beer you drink. The crispness of it is almost like a pilsener. This really isnt so bad for a lager; it makes me wonder why they didnt call it a regular lager (the whole premium lager thing is a joke anyway, since most are terrible). While this beer is from Colombia and is not so great, my girl is and she is awesome!

Bottle from Bierwijnboetiek, Den Haag. Clear golden body with thin head. Skunky nose. Taste of oranges, malts. Quite prickly, cardboard texture. Not much to it. Passable.

Bottle 33cl @Moustache Blanche. A clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is slightly toasted, aroma is slightly toasted too, corn sugar and light burnt caramel, high carbonation, typical poor lager notes with corn sugar and wet paper. Even better than expected.

Bottle by 01DIC12. Twist top, nose has straw and a bit of barn, some dough, too, quite surprising. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Taste is malty, actually relatively dry, with a minty undertone and oblique floral notes. Very grainy. Relatively clean medium body, crisp and tightly enveloped, this was a nice little find.

The Monkey House, Bogota. Lingering soft foam, slightly richer than yellow and clear. A bit malt rich with honey notes on nose. Fairly innocuous, malty lager. A bit fizzy, honey notes and some darker malt. Fine.

Bottle, 330 ml. Poured into a stemmed glass at home. New country tick. ABV 4.7% Golden yellow colour on the body with a small sized white head. Good density and good retention. Light lacing on the glass, non existent activity in it. Light malty aroma, non offensive at all, mostly because is so faint. That is pretty much it, nothing else going on there. Taste is also malty, with light grass. Sweet and it lacks the bitterness on the aftertaste. Thin body and low carbonation, as expected. Nothing notable with this one, is going down easily, good to flush a dinner down.
