Bottled. Got this at La Unica Grocery on W. Devon Avenue in Chicago. By the way, La Unica is THE place for hard-to-find Latin American beers in Chicago to my knowledge. They carried Pacena, Pilsener Ecuador, Polar, and Club Colombia. Anyway to the beer, had a hoppy scent so I was kind of hopeful...alas, once again I was disappointed by the taste. Bland, uninspiring, had a chemical corn, astringent aftertaste to it. Since its scorching hot right now, I guess pale lagers are a refreshing thirst quencher before drinking better beers in the fall/winter.

KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 15, 2009
Bottle from an Italian shop. Soft pilsener with a little flowery aroma, sweet grain. Not in any way above the ordinary, but not as ghastly as most tropical lagers tend to be.

2.5
Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 13, 2012
Light yellow colour, head is all white. Malts in the aroma. Sweetness from the malts, but adds a fine bitterness. Quite good for an industrial lager.
