A little honnney alike and very hopy, not my type, but was not bad. The foam was there, and the colour was a little like orange, was a lager eventhough. FiliusFer (60) - Quito, ECUADOR - SEP 17, 2014
This beer has to be fresh to drink otherwise it will be very skunky and disgusting. When it is fresh it is the best industrial beer to be found in Ecuador. It is golden with good head, medium carbonation, grainy, some hops in there. A typical American premium lager. Ribman (13) - Colorado, USA - APR 20, 2012
This was only available in some of the better restaurants in Ecuador, but I don’t see why. It was a little bitter, and kind of skunky. I had this on a cross country bus, so I might have been sitting around for awhile. All in all I liked the more popular brand, Pilsener, better.
That said, I had this after having our bus stopped by a bunch of strikers in the middle of the night, and it did help calm my nerves.... Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 8, 2008
Pours yellow with a fizzy white head. Smells of wildflowers, some dry malt, metallic. Tastes of dry malt, some rice, touches of pepper, a stray hop or two. Morboso (146) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 17, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2014 Quite a pleasant beer for Ecuadorian standards. Ok light hops note. The best commercial pick here.

Pours yellow with a fizzy head. Light aroma. Has a pretty decent palate and unoffensive taste. Pretty refreshing.

A European type flavory;a little skunky but decent flavor and oh so good in 35 degree celsius weather!! Panzerfaust (865) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle drank at Guayaquil International Airport Jose Joaquin de Olmedo. This one pours the typical clear pale lager color. However it shows a surprisingly clean herbal smell giving way to maltier hints. Notes of mint, apples, pineapple, fresh green leaves and dough. Clean herbal taste, slightly watery but perfect for what it is. It reminds me of a fresh Stella Artois. This one is a fine commercial lager from Ecuador, miles away from the bland Cerveza Pilsener. It can hold its own against most european examples of the style. maupie (1102) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JUL 16, 2005
This beer has a golden body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter. jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - AUG 31, 2007
Grainy and light perfumy aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, fair lace. Light sweet, grainy/malty, light bitter. Crispy and refreshing. I was actually suprised and expected less.
