Christos (5739) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2014
Stubby bottle, 330 ml. Poured into a tulip glass at home. ABV 7% Clear body, deep orange golden in colour. Tall off-white head, thick with very good retention.Medium lacing left behind. Weirdly nice aroma, fruity, some bananas but processed-like an not the actual fruit, sugar, some dough. Now that I am thinking about it the smell I was looking for is banana bread but a quite sweet one. Taste is also fruity but more complex, again banana bread, along with peaches, hops, sugar, light yeast, light wine notes, with a mild but satisfying bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, carbonatiion is a bit high but still on good levels. Overall very surprised by tis one, it was dirt cheap and sitting on the shelf along other more mediocre beers so I was expecting yet one of the sae but it really surpassed my expectations.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Hazy orange with a thick white head. Fruity hoppy aroma. Malty taste with a touch of sweetness. Aftertaste is a bit harsh. Decent but unimpressive Belgian ale.

Pours like an ale. A bit sour, malty, with hoppy citrus fruitiness coming through. Lively mouthfeel. Decent.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Trollekelder in Gent. BBF 27/06/2015. Hazy orange with a white head. Nose is sweet oranges, thick BE yeast, candy sugar, lightly hoppy. Taste is lots of candy sugar, caramel, very sweet BE yeast, lots of caramel malts, sweet spices & sweet orange peel, faint hops. Touch higher carb. Not a bad brew within style.

Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - OCT 26, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2016 33cl bottle. Cloudy orange with big head. NOSE : sweet malt aromas of caramel and sugar bread. Yeasty, fruity esters revealing aromas of apricot, banana and citrus peel. SIP : creamy body with medium carbonation. Sweet beginning with a background of yeast and fruits. It develops floral hop character that ends with fair amount of bitter hops. The beer is lightly bitter but just enough to end up with a pepper and metallic like aftertaste. OVERALL : good balance with decent body and carbonation. Easy to drink and 7% of alcohol is well hidden.

Standard Belgian blond beer. I think this is mostly brewed so that the Cluyesenaer bar has its own beer.

EddyBeer1 (1058) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 9, 2013

thewolf (12588) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2013
Bottle, bought @ Beer Planet (online).
Pours clear orange with a large, creamy, white head. Aroma has malts, sweet and doughy, light caramel, mild oxidation. Medium carbonation, dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some oxidation (and it’s not too old), doughy, sweet Belgian sugar, mild vinious, quite some herbal dry notes. A bit weird.
