UPDATED: OCT 9, 2004 Pale orange, hazy; slim white ring with some lace. Sweet nose, candi sugar, spicey-peppery. Very sweet taste, lots of coriander, bit soupy. Medium-bodied. Beer is virtually devoid of aftertaste. Made perfectly, more than reasonable aroma, bland boring taste. I wonder if they want to start concurrence the big brewers now, at De Proef.

Rerated 9/10/04 Much better impression - especially impressed by the balance of this beer. Balance between hops, malts, orange zeste flavour is great. I have added some points on taste and overall.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Trollekelder in Gent. BBF 27/06/2015. Hazy orange with a white head. Nose is sweet oranges, thick BE yeast, candy sugar, lightly hoppy. Taste is lots of candy sugar, caramel, very sweet BE yeast, lots of caramel malts, sweet spices & sweet orange peel, faint hops. Touch higher carb. Not a bad brew within style. Pours a clear golden to light orange beer, creamy white adhesive head. Aroma is meaty, smoky and with a hint of caramel and malts. Also some dead yeast. MF is ok, full body. Taste has fruity hops, some malts and a very balanced hop bitterness. Pineapple and caramel. Very balanced beer and interesting use of aroma hops. Aftertaste is dry but fruity with citrus notes. Very nice brew!

Clear body, deep orange golden in colour. Tall off-white head, thick with very good retention.Medium lacing left behind. Weirdly nice aroma, fruity, On tap at the Brugge Beer Festival: 2nd Feb 2014: from notes. Unclear copper body with a thin off-white wisp or two. The nose a floral and fruit mix sprinkled with sugar, some banana maybe. Taste is less floral and more fruity, again bananas but now joined by peaches and a yeastiness. Gets semi-bitter towards the end of each sip. Medium to thin body feel, carbonatiion is a little high, almost fizzy. mjs (7156) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 17, 2009
(Bottle at One Pint Pub Belgian weeks -- shared with Sinensis and hkkl, thanks!) Hazy and golde. Small white head. Sweetness and vegetables in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, saltiness, sweetness, some sulphur, bitterness and some liquorice in taste. Sweet and malty aftertaste.
