My favourite proefbrouwerij brew. Fruity and sirupy as it is, there is a common element to all their beers that seems to have reached an optimal equilibrium here. Starts out very sweet but tender complexities cause for a long finish. One to take in large trusty gulps, a very pleasant beer to drink. Don’t believe the 7% though, you can easily underestimate this beer’s effects.
Hard to find, even in Ghent.. I know only two places here that serve this one. All the better, I guess. Jerre (3669) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2007

Pours a clear golden to light orange beer, creamy white adhesive head. Aroma is meaty, smoky and with a hint of caramel and malts. Also some dead yeast. MF is ok, full body. Taste has fruity hops, some malts and a very balanced hop bitterness. Pineapple and caramel. Very balanced beer and interesting use of aroma hops. Aftertaste is dry but fruity with citrus notes. Very nice brew!
At an slijterij in opmeer, bottle 33cl, hazy amber, full fizzy head, wow lots of fruits like grapefruits and orange, some grain and bitter, beautiful one and one of the favorites now. imdownthepub (14755) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2011
Bottled, 330ml from Burg Bieren, Ermelo, Netherlands. Gold with white head. Good tropical fruity nose with a hint of spice, fresh & tangy and thankfully this follows into the flavour. Light and juicy fruit flavours, pineapple, mango with a light malty body and a yeasty smack. Very pleasant beer which I would love to try again.

From cervezasespeciales. In Teku glass. Playing Mutant Mudds. 13 months after BB date and still very tasty. Small geyser when opened. Not much sugary. More of a dry and yummy bitterness with a hint of sweetness oberabcbbsok (692) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - MAY 1, 2007

Bottle from Bierkoning. Pours a slight hazed light amber with a nice good big off white head and good lace. Aroma is earthy zesty orange and mango citrus with a little earthy hint, some toffee malts, leather and musty hops. Flavor is light toasted malts, and has a slight weed- marijuana herbal kick to it in the aroma and flavor, some cracker cereal maltiness with lgiht caramel sweetness, then a citrus tart light finish with some mineral and earthy hops in the end. Good stuff! Christos (5859) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2014
Stubby bottle, 330 ml. Poured into a tulip glass at home. ABV 7%
Clear body, deep orange golden in colour. Tall off-white head, thick with very good retention.Medium lacing left behind.
Weirdly nice aroma, fruity, some bananas but processed-like an not the actual fruit, sugar, some dough. Now that I am thinking about it the smell I was looking for is banana bread but a quite sweet one.
Taste is also fruity but more complex, again banana bread, along with peaches, hops, sugar, light yeast, light wine notes, with a mild but satisfying bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium thin body, carbonatiion is a bit high but still on good levels.
Overall very surprised by tis one, it was dirt cheap and sitting on the shelf along other more mediocre beers so I was expecting yet one of the sae but it really surpassed my expectations.
