erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - APR 19, 2017
Brown, small head. Light sour, brown bread malts, woody. It’s okay, palate is very light though. Not a very complex example of the style, but all right. (25cl bottle at Café Botteltje)

250ml bottle. Thank you, One Pint Pub! Pours transparrent brownish colour. Thin white head. Notes of burn caramel, notes of berries, notes if coffee, very light notes of smoke in the aroma. Slightly acidic beginning. Notes of berries. Burnt caramel in the middle. Acidic notes. Some watery notes. Malty, caramelly hints. Dry, acidic finish. Rather light bodied, interesting oud bruin. Have some watery notes and maybe less body than expected, but otherwise easily drinkable good brew.

Chez Werner, arrivée du ronde van vlaanderen. Couleur brune rouge, bonne mousse. Nez fruité cerise, fut, pas trop intense. Gout de vieille cerises avec légère aigreur. Corps moyen. Fin légèrement tannique. Assez légère, mais j’aime bien

[email protected] One Pint Pub. Pours mahogany color with a thin white head. Sweet fruity, cherries, wood and rosehip. This pretty much continues in the flavor. Quite thin, but refreshing.

markschiedon (692) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2015
Drinking blind from 25cl bottle. In the aroma sour, wry, cherries, caramel. The unclear red brown beer has a small brown head. The taste is mainly sour, a bit vineux. Low carbonated.

Found back quite some tasting notes, among them, this one. Aged sample thx to Joris! APPEARANCE: dark brown beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: sour, oak, little lactic even, slightly oxidated, but adds to the taste a bit. TASTE: decently sour, little sweet, reminds me of rodenbach in a way, Pleasant to drink.
