1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pineapple aroma. Pale amber with very little head. Flavour is slightly citrusy and not much else. Very thin body and oily mouthfeel. Finishes very bitter. I’ve definitely had better.
Similar to carling, but slightly better. Faded blue can makes it look like cheap crap. and it really is, there are better beers for 2.99 in the coop. rauchbier (3927) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2005
Can, from Co-op. Gold, poor head and moderate condition. Nasty sickly sweet peardrops and starch aromas, oily and sweet in the mouth, slight pineapple fruitiness, with some realy bad background chip fat notes. Lingers far too long, even chilled to near freezing it still remains vile. If this is their idea of premium, I would rather shop at Lidl. leaparsons (10712) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2005
Can from the Co-op. Golden with no head. Aromas are soapy hops with traces of citrus. Flavours are soft malts with some citrus and a chemical aftertaste. Incredibly bloating. Poor, not Premium. imdownthepub (15137) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2005
Tinned, pasteurised. Pale gold with fizzed body CO2 head. Tinny, metallic flavour, with cheap malt flavour. Little bitterness and thin bodied.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2006 Feb, 2005440ml can. Clean, nicely balanced between crisp and sweet. A good gulping lager - goes great with a curry. [2.8]
Nov, 206 Fat, with caramel & toffee flavours. Creamy fizz. Vaque. Not offensive. [1.9]
