Nose - plenty of sweet malt. A touch of orange.
Taste - more sweet malt, cake mixture. Dry orange.
Palate - light bodied, creamy and smooth.

More a hoppy strong bitter than a golden ale - not least because the Co-op has another beer in this range specifically labelled as that; it's not an IPA either for the same reason. It's brown with a lacing head and a hoppy-malty nose with spicy and sweet notes. Pleasingly full-bodied with a chewy, lightly woody malts and hoppy-spicy bitterness. john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2017

Bottled, 330ml from The Co-Operative Store, Brixham, Devon. Amber with white head. There is a honeyed, caramel sweetness to this from the start, mid roasted malts, reasonable depth. The sweetness tends to mask the hops for me but overall it's not bad.

Malty IPA with a fantastic, robust hop finish. At first it did not impress me, but it grew on me towards the end. Bottle from - perhaps not surprisingly - my local Co-Op lokis333 (618) - Biržai, LITHUANIA - OCT 2, 2017
Clear deep gold colour with large strong white foam. Aromas of subtle sweet hops with citrusy/herbal notes as well as a light touch of light malts and honey. Palate, medium body with smooth creamy texture leaving smooth slightly warm finish. Taste, bittersweet of caramel malts and hops that has a touch of pine, herbs and slight bit of citrus. Overall, not bad rather nice golden with nice hoppy touch. Not bad at all. Pyobon (1531) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 23, 2017
(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with big white head. Nice aroma - gentle floral and fruity. Medium body, well carbonated. Nice toffee malt backbone with fruity hop notes at the start, and pleasant hop bitterness at the end. Very drinkable. Gary (2094) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2017
330ml bottle. Caramel malty shoe polish and citrus hop nose. Low Boost golde appearance. Drinks quite thin. Any interesting cascade hop is really mild and losing the battle of supremacy to boring Goldings hops..meh joe19612 (3131) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2017
