COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A stronger than expected mild. Very dark, with a full flavour and a slightly bitter aftertaste, this places mild in the forefront of cask-conditioned beers again. It has a fullness, which as its name suggests lets you know it's there. A very frequent medal winner at the Great British Beer Festival.

Cask @ JDW, Victoria Station. The pourís medium brown with a small tan head. The nose is sweet milk chocolate, some nutty candy bar and blackberry jam. Charred coffee bean roast aromas. The taste is nut bar, red fruits, chocolate-covered trail mix and hazelnut. Light coffee on the finish. A bit thin on the palate, smooth and easy to drink. Overall, not bad stuff.

Butelka 500ml. Ciemno brunatny kolor z delikatnym rubinowym refleksem. Piana dosc obfita, brazowa opada dosc szybko. Slodowe aromaty podparte karmelem toffi i owocami. W smaku delikatne o posmaku czarnej porzeczki lub owocow suszonych. Wszystko to podbudowane karmelem lekko palonymi slodami . Dosc wodniste i raczej slodkawe... i o malej zawartosci alkoholu wszytko to daje niezle piwo

Cask Half Pint Ė JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - Very Dark Brown in colour. Malty; lightly roasted malts, caramel. Fruity; mild berry fruits. Hoppy; slight hop bitterness. Sweetish malty fruity throughout. Drinkable. (2012-11-08)

From cask @ The Diamond, Londonderry. Hmm.. Just had this yesterday, and this along with all the others Iíve had, just suddenly disappeared from my notes. Means I have to drink MORE beers.. Donít you just hate it when that happens! Anyhow, it does initially look like a nitro infused one this. Itís pretty deep and dark, bronze black Iíd call it and on the top a both creamy and dense beige head that lacing elegantly down the sides of the glass. It smells nice. A good chocolate milky thing going on, thereís a little bit of roastiness. Sweet marzipan chocolate and some tones of coffee. Nice stuff. Tastes quite good also. More of that milk chocolate thing found in the aroma. Itís dark malty and also a little fruity. Mild smooth casky texture with a little bit of prickling bubbles. Quite lightdrinkable actually and somewhat good even! 07.06.2016 AND 06.06.2016

Cask pint at The Last Post (JDW), Paisley. Quite a deep red colour. With a larger than normal head.

Cask. Aroma of roasted malts with caramel notes. Pours dark with definite ruby tints. Tan top and strong lacing. Flavours of cookie dough and light fruits with a slightly resinous finish. Flat and one cannot call a 3.8% mild strong mild as there are 6%s out there.

Cask at The Risig Sun, Redditch. No smell. Body is clear deep amber, head is small, beige, creamy, fully lasting, good lacing. Aroma is fruity, honey, dark berries. Medium sweet, light fruity sour. Finish is short lasting fruity sweet. Light body, creamy texture, nearly flat carbonation. Easy fruity beer, not bad.

mabuzzer (814) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2016
Cask in Last Plantaganet (JDW), Leicester. Dark reddish brown with a thin tan head. Sweet berry aroma, maybe a touch of vanilla. Taste is malt, berries. Ok but nothing exciting

Scopey (14523) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2016
Cask at Spoons. It pours deep ruby - brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is general sweet malty vibe, toasted malt loaf, dried fruits and cherry cola. The taste is pretty weak....toasty, roasted malts, malt loaf, cola, dark fruit and earth with a short, dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. No real depth at all. Not offensive per say, just pretty boring...
