[24/12/15] Bottle from Clackamas Town Center: Dark amber body with solid head. Nose is malty, toasty, floral. Taste is floral again, malty, with chocolates. Bitter in the finish. Nice one. willisread (3546) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Tap at BCS. Clearish copper brown with no head. Caramel notes with some grass hops on the nose. Medium bitterness on the palate with some light chocolate and caramel in the background. Finish is slightly bitter. Probably the best of the Oregon Beer Geeks beers today (outside of Cascade of course) at BCS. Not a bad amber at all. KansaiBeerLvrs (5304) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 23, 2015
King kitty red ale 5.8% 60 IBU a deep reddish brown with an off-white head. The taste is a bitter biscuit maltiness with a citrusy peppery flavor. Ok.

Tap at Bud. Orange-brown, clear, with a low head. Nose of chocolate, caramel, rich, malty nose like a brown ale. big caramel and toffee flavor, but very bitter as well. Malty and bitter brown ale really. Strykzone (7560) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2015
Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This pours clear and dark brown with a lot of red hues. A nice off white creamy head. A chocolate aroma. Malts lead here but there is a consistent hop bitterness behind that. Those hops also bring citrus fruit. A gob of sediment on the bottom of the glass made the end very yeasty. That caused a finish like an IPA with big hops, yeast, and malts. Big improvement to make it less like an Amber. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 14, 2015
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours clear dark amber with a big beige head. Nose of rich roasted malts and ripe fruit. Some floral hops blend with the malts. Medium in body. Smooth in mouth feel. The flavor is fruit, chocolate and roasted malts. Yeast shows up in last pour. There is bitterness that holds on in to an earthy finish. Very good amber. mcberko (18573) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2015
On tap at Coalition, pours an opaque dark amber with a small white head. Aroma has a good balance of resinous hops and bready caramel malt. Flavour is dry, with bready malts and a touch of resinous hops - less hops than in the nose. Bland and weak, but clean and decently balanced. Draft - Earthy malts and sweet caramel. Hazy copper with a decent white head. Caramel and toasty notes with some battering hops.
