2010 bottle courtesy of moejuck, thanks homie! been wanting to try the regualar version before i break into the ba versions, and i thi nk i am in for a treat, as this itself is a treat. thick brown pour with a nice head and slight cascading after a sip. the aroma and taste are very meaty, peaty, smokey, big and chiwy all the way around. the mouth feel is to match, with an oily beef jerky like finish and aftertaste. this is a pretty good imperial stout with a lot of big arts on it, but its more refined than dl 09-10 and the likes. good stuff. Aroma is coffee beans and black olive tapenade with hints of cinnamon. Medium sweet, with a nice bitter backbone from the dark roast and hops and a good bit of smokiness in the finish. harrisoni (19546) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2010
Bottle at ChrisO "I’m Trying to see the Stool" pre GBBF2010 tasting. Black/dark brown edges. Lovely impy stout. Good choc and coffee flavours.

22oz bomber shared at our Epic Chicago Tasting and poured into BA taster.
A - Pours black, very little head, thing ring, no lacing.
S - Dark fruits, chocolate, hot alcohol. The alcohol here was a little too much for me.
T - Same as nose...too much alcohol...not hidden well at all. Dark fruits, chocolate, some spice, brown sugars.
M - Light to medium, not as much body as I was expecting with a slightly dry finish.
D - Meh. Average, at best. Way better stouts right down the street at any Binny’s. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2010

Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF tasting. Deep ambery brown colour with small brown head. Aroma is fruits, wood, caramel, some fruits and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is roasted malts, toffee, mild dark berries, some slight coffeeish notes as well. Pleasant imperial stout.
Bottled. A black beer with a brown shine under a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt as well as some notes of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry and roasted finish.
