UPDATED: NOV 29, 2012 On tap at closed for business. Drinking this instead of shopping for weddig dresses. Fuxk that. Huge and roasty. Coast can really make a stout. A little creamier than blackbeerd Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Served on cask at Brewvival 2012. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, mineral and salty notes. The taste is bitter roasted malts, coffee, mineral notes and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Nicely made oyster stout. jrob21 (3802) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Sample from a growler. Bittersweet coffee aroma. Milky smooth slight chocolate flavor. Finish has a bit of cocoa and a nice creamy texture. Goes down awfully smooth. crossovert (13908) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 16, 2011
Smooth, nice, from the growler. I didn’t really perceive any oyster on the palate, just a smooth dry stout.
