Rich copper coloured body with a touch of an amber glow and a thinnish tan head. Aroma of earthy and slightly nutty hops with a bit of a grapefruit note, but relatively deep and pungent. Medium-bodied; Earthy hop notes with a decent amount of nutty flavours and some subdued bitterness from the hops with only a touch of sugars. Aftertaste shows some bitterness, but a nutty and relatively earthy flavour at the end. Overall, a decent IPA with more of a nutty and earthy bite and not much complexity, especially compared to west-coast versions. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Southern Seasons in Charleston, South Carolina on 21-August-2014 for US$8,99 sampled at home in Washington on Christmas Day, 25-December-2014. This one was bottled on 31-July-2014.

Sample at Ale Alpharetta, from Trey. Clear gold color, with a small, beige ring. Big, bright, mango and citrus, butterscotch, and pine. Very bitter, with a light sweet balancing maltiness. Medium, sticky, and creamy. Overall, this is a nice, citrus IPA. Busick (390) - Lake Wylie, South Carolina, USA - DEC 15, 2014
A great IPA out of Charleston, SC! Hops are a little on the bitter side for me, but overall a great local brew. rejtable (2688) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2014
Nice beer. Pours light clear orange some head and lacing. Nose is quiet pine. Flavours of citrus fruit, some cereal, some pine. Taste medium bitter light sweet. Medium sticky body with medium carbonation.

22 oz bottle. Amber/Rust color with minimal head. Relatively mild bitterness and fairly well balanced. Big fan. Homer321 (5072) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2014
Draft at brewery. Pours a very clear light gold color with medium sized white head. Nose is very floral with lots of tangerine and hints of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is initially sweet with some fruitiness to it. Tropical like melons and such. Then the bitterness kicks in to balance the malt backbone. Dries out in the finish. Still a tad sweet for my liking but very good and well balanced. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 16, 2014
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy and lightly piney hops, some pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with sort of a light hoppiness. Average texture. Not a bad IPA. zizzybalubba (1869) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 14, 2014
22 oz. bottle from Greenville Beer Exchange, Greenville, SC. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of pine, wet grass, and grapefruit rind. Nice assertive hop taste of...pine, wet grass, and grapefruit rind. Long lasting bitterness. Very little balance (and that’s ok with me). This really walks a thin line between IPA and DIPA and is an outstanding beer. agl108 (1242) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2014
22 oz. bomber. Poured murky orange with soapy head that dissipated quickly. Poor head retention. Big and malty with grapefruit rinds. Great balance. Bitter finish, slightly tongue stripping.
