22 ounce bottle thanks to James. Dark pour, creamy head. Definite peppers in this one with cocoa powder and chocolate. A bit all over the place, though. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2016
Growler from Beer Frog Spring Hill. Pours a deep, thick obsidian with a tan head. Nose is roast, earth, cumin, mild booze, slight raisin, and some cocoa. Flavor hits with roast, cumin, cocoa, slight raisin, cocoa, chocolate, and lingering earthy peppers. Lots of stain on the glass. Lingering cumin, roast, and peppers into the finish. Interesting stout overall. rdixon77 (3120) - Georgia, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Interesting idea. Mole beer. Pretty successful, but isn’t super balanced. Still tasty. Chocolate and pepper heat both pop. A little booze. Full

22 oz. dated 11/15. Jet black with a thin film of cream on top. Aroma is earthy iron, cocoa, red wine and pepper jelly. Tastes of red wine, earthy cocoa, serrano heat, tingly spices and a hint of caramel. Medium-heavy body has smooth, low-medium carbonation and a definite roast and pepper slant. drowland (9191) - Georgia, USA - MAR 8, 2016
3/8/16. Bottle from Beach’s in Destin. Black pour with a nice tan head. Chocolate aroma, cinnamon, caramel, peppers pop. Lightly acidic flavor, chocolate, coffee, peppers, dark fruits, acidity. Not bad. Cybercat (6423) - Georgia, USA - FEB 8, 2016
Pours warm coffee sable with a thick, though effervescent, chocolate brown head. Aroma presents roast malt, chipotle, quality coffee, spicy and fruity tones. Flavor starts with roast malt and coffee, and adds a peppery note that teases the palate but does not overwhelm the taste buds. Molasses, fruity and spice tones round out a very pleasing, distinctive taste. Body is firm, though fizz is lacking. Join the patrol! jrob21 (3919) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Sample at strong beer fest. Definitely spicy. Aroma and flavor dominated by the pepper spice. Bit of a light stout base. Would love a little more body and heft to the base beer to balance out the spice. Entertaining though nonetheless. Gachupines (1252) - USA - DEC 1, 2015
Black with a thick tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is spicy, slightly vegetal with roast coffee underneath. Flavor is heavily spiced and roasted but with a strong burnt and vegetal taste that is a little overwhelming. Coffee flavors come through as well. I might have skipped the serrano and stuck with the ancho pepper for the roasted, earthy flavor. Still interesting, but misses the mark.
