Light rust and caramel like a drivethrough desert in your dads beater. Amber pour. Light sweet finish. Plenty of malt. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2017
Coastal Empire Southern Delight Praline Amber is a solid brew but has too much sweetness. Deep red pour with a decent head. Not much aroma -- just a candy sweet. Taste has a nice pecan flavor, but the palate is too sweet. Southern Delight might be for the sweet tooth, but is little overwhelming for most. nearbeer (5709) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 26, 2016
12 oz. can. Lightly hazy, deep amber brew with a film of bubbles. Aroma of lightly metallic berry, cocoa and toffee. Tastes of cocoa, tart berry, dark-toasted pecan with the bitter pith, ash and a touch of citrus. Light-medium body is much drier than expected with a powdery astringent mouthfeel that I suppose is ground pecan meal. I got a small note of vanilla that might lean toward praline in the long finish of one sip. Tasted OK, but this seemed to be infected since it had more in common with a sour/wild fruit ale than a praline. bluejacket74 (1996) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - SEP 24, 2016
12 ounce can, no dating on it that I was able to find. One of my friends recently was in Savannah and was nice enough to pick this up for me. Served in a can shaped pint glass, the beer pours a reddish/amber color with almost an inch light tan head. Head retention is good and there’s a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nuts, vanilla, caramel, it’s a nice praline-like aroma. Taste is similar to the aroma, but not quite as sweet in comparison. However, there’s a slight metallic taste which hurts the brew some. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick with moderate carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough brew. It was nice to try once, but I don’t think it’s something I could drink all the time. arn8897 (458) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2016
Pours a deep amber with an off white head. Aroma of malt and some sweet maple. Taste the same with a little hop finish to balance out the sweetness. Light mouth feel.

Pretty much hits the description perfectly-sweet, maple-y, great malt backbone. Well done!

Pours a medium brow with a short, light tan head. Faint nose of praline and nut. Wet, soft mouthfeel. Praline, brown sugar, flavors. aracauna (3733) - Georgia, USA - MAY 27, 2016
There’s a nice nuttiness to this one, but a slightly unpleasant sweetness and a bit of a tang in the finish. BelgianBeerGal (4286) - Panama City, Florida, USA - APR 25, 2016
Growler from Growler Garage 30A. Pretty cool amber and that isn’t hop focused. Light sweetness with some butter, caramel and nuttiness. Tasty. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 9, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear honey brown with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavor is a nice blend of toasted malt and some vanilla extract. A decent beer.
