COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tybee Island Blonde is a Kölsch style ale. It is a clean, crisp, session beer brewed with noble hops. The Blonde has a light floral aroma and a mild hop bitterness. The agreeable nature of this German style ale means that it will get along well with many foods, but you have to pick a dish that won’t overwhelm it. Being that we are on the coast, we suggest you start by pairing it with some seafood!

Hazy golden-straw colored body, medium to large white head, and soapy lacing. Clean citrus, grass, cracker, and a little bit of peppery yeast. Clean, light bodied with moderate to lively carbonation, and a crisp, semi-dry finish. Fairly enjoyable.

Malt and few hops in the nose. Big lemon and tart citrus taste. Finishes with a malt. Decent.

Draft at Hooters in Atlanta, GA. THe beer is transparent and light golden with an inch of frothy white head. Nice, ready, grainy aroma. Malty with slight fruity sweetness. Quaffable and pairs nicely with spicy wings. Mild bitterness. Pretty good.

Clear pale straw body with a minimal thin ring of white head. The nose is rather light, just a bit of pale malt and some light corn. The flavor is just as light and bland. Corn, pale malt, zero hops, watery finish. Meh. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty poor stuff.

Poured from the tap at into a pint glass at Tybee Island. The appearance is a slightly murky pale amber with a small white head. The aroma is hop driven. The taste is big on citrus with a mild hop finish.

Not a big fan of this one. Oddly syrup-y and bitter. I can't really place it but it's strange and not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has the funk of kolsh, but some floral hops balance it out. Drinkable kolsh when I usually am it a fan of the style. Lighter refreshing beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crystal clear gold body. Soft. Fairly clean finish. Slightly husky malt. Hips are mostly in the bettering and fleeting.

Can. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), with a light note of soap. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A simple, somewhat roughly malted example. Watery and thin, with a disappearing head. Drinkable, but little more.
