Poured from the tap at into a pint glass at Tybee Island. The appearance is a slightly murky pale amber with a small white head. The aroma is hop driven. The taste is big on citrus with a mild hop finish. jonsin (25) - - MAY 25, 2013
Poured clear from a can (not listed as a contract brew but the can says it is). Light floral aroma. Nice head and good lacing all the way to completion. A bit bitter for a Kolsch but I like it. Easy drinker, could put a few of these away without knowing. unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - FEB 20, 2014
12oz can. Clear, gold color. White froth. Aroma of corn meal, pale grains, straw/hay. Crisp taste. Flavor of straw, pale malts, earthy hay-like bitterness. A very nice blonde. Very refreshing. Medium bodied. Another superb beer from Coastal Empire. (3977) Malty_MacHops (688) - Eastanollee, Georgia, USA - DEC 4, 2013

On tap at the Distillery. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of pale malts, light fruits, peach, spicy hops. Flavor of bready malt, tons of spices I can’t quite place, light bitter hops, light fruits. An interesting and different kolsch, I quite liked this one.

$9.79 six pack from a Bi-Lo on Hilton Head Island, SC. Pours a hazy dark gold with an explosive white head that slowly falls to a few permanent lumps atop the beer. Aroma is weak--malts and some yeast. Taste is sweet malts, butter, vanilla, some nuts with a yeasty and crisp finish. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. This is well within the style guidelines, being refreshing, easy to drink, and forgettable. Worth a tick if you’re in the area. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 2, 2017
Hazy golden-straw colored body, medium to large white head, and soapy lacing. Clean citrus, grass, cracker, and a little bit of peppery yeast. Clean, light bodied with moderate to lively carbonation, and a crisp, semi-dry finish. Fairly enjoyable. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 13, 2013
End part of a 12oz bottle, shared by the group. Mildly hazy golden color. Minimal white head and lace. Nice floral hop in the nose. Little orange zest. Light to medium body. Light carbonation. Zesty sweet taste. Pretty good golden. Definitely better than expected, especially for a can that’s been sitting around open for a bit, which I got the end part of. unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Pours a clear golden with a sudsy white foamy head. Lightly nutty aroma, sweet malty, a bit creamy full, some vanilla. Flavor is a bit chalky and yeasty, seemingly wheaty, touch of honey, fairly dry. Crisp body, a bit gritty, smaller soda carbonation. ChainGangGuy (4919) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 25, 2015
12 ounce can - $2.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a light yellow-hued body, ever so slightly hazed, with a small, powder white head.
Smell: Sweetened lemon peel, scant crackery maltiness and a pinch of peppery dried herb.
Taste: Mild malt flavors of soda crackers and puffed grains preclude some sweetish lemon, some mealy-toned husk accents and a herbal, lightly spicy hop character. Lightly bitter. Flavors follow through the crispish, semi-dry finish, though, there’s more of that sweet lemon popping up in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.
