Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Red brown with an off white foam. Aromas are red berries with yeast and leafy aspects. Toffee and black tea with cookie dough. Flavours are chocolate with nutty weetabix and woody notes. Peppery and dry with a nutty finish. OK. RichardGretton (4772) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2014

Cask conditioned handpump Coach & Horses Wellingborough 30/01/14. A dark dark brown beer with an off-white wispy head and lace. Quite homebrewy. A touch of sourness in the nose. Woody fruitiness in the mouth. an acquired taste and certainly not for me. imdownthepub (15160) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2012
Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’12. Copper with white head. Really quite a dry bitter, leafy, earthy hop on a fuller, malty body. Some caramel in the background. Decent enough.

Gravity, The Globe, Leicester. Some kind of Cornish fest going on. Hint of halo, dead copper looks. Soapy with jellied orange notes, toasted nuts, slight vomit, good toast and nut afters, mulled berries. There’s a half decent brew in there somewhere, I’m telling you. [cask @ RBESG 2009]
Coffee and some dark malt sour nuts make up the relatively weak aroma. Almost clear dark brown-orange with no head. Weak, slightly sour toasty malt flavour that has a moderate bitterness. Quaffable. Sour feel, with a very slightly bitter but otherwise clean finish, low carbonation. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2009
A Mes rate: cask at the New Oxford.
Dark chestnut with a thin off white head. Rather harsh unbrewed malt with some biscuit and pond water. Really dull.
