[ As Coastal West Coast IPA ].
Unclear medium to dark orange colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, dusty hops, light leather. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, orange, dusty hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft flat.
Bottle from Beers of Europe.
Appearance - deep orange with a very thin head. Not much carbonation on opening.
Nose - lavender, orange and caramel. Interesting.
Taste - more orange and caramel. Decent bitter orange finish.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a nice dry tangy finish.
Overall - I was suspicious on opening but it improved. allmyvinyl (10624) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 4, 2015

Hazy orange amber, a few white bubbles. Palate is a has a slightly viscous feel to it, semi dry. Pretty mild carbonation. Slightly resinous hops, little marmalade. Mild to medium bitterness. Little sweeter citrus and mild floralness before a semi dry finish. Certainly hoppy but the lack of carbonation gives it a stodgy feel.
Bottle.Golden and clear with a small head. Slightly spicy with a hoppy medium body. An interesting and very drinkable example of this style.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, white head. Thick, tinned peach, toffee thing going on. Some boozy spiciness, too. Taste is chunky, fudgy sweet. Some spice. Soft bitterness. Palate is thick and chewy. Soft carbonation emphasises this. Finish is chewy sweet, and light bitter. Big beer, but for me, needs more greasy hop. Still really enjoyed this, though.
