On nitro at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, roast. Medium body, roast, cocoa, light roast, light finish, very good.

Not bad at all. Strong aroma and flavor of chocolate and toasted malt. Nice soft dark brown appearance with good lacing. Good desert beer.

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2014
Pours a deep brown almost black with khaki colored head. Coffee, roasted malt, chocolate malt, and just plain old roast on the nose; follows onto the palate. A little thin for my liking, but overall not bad.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 30, 2014
On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Dark pour with a small tan head. Aroma is lots of chocolate, ash, and dark grain. Taste is burned toast, chocolate, vanilla, and grainy. Ashy, grainy finish.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 27, 2014
On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma has some strong chocolate notes as well as some roasted malt. The flavor is very similar. The milk chocolate notes are complemented by some roasted malt, mint and cream. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice stout.

Pitch black with a light beige head. Strong chocolate aroma with some roast, nuts, and toast. Taste is the same with a sweet chocolate finish. Medium body. Tap at the brewery.

Dunno what the mistake was but this indeed one of the better mistakes I’ve had. Chocolate and more chocolate but not too sweet.

Ferris (16106) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 18, 2014
Draft - Dark chocolate and cookie. Jet black with a small beige head. Lots of candy like chocolate, with a touch of cherry. Almost a bit burnt, but no bitterness so it works out. Nice.

3.4
Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 9, 2014
BTBF. Dark brown, cloudy appearance. Aroma is chocolate, malty, Baker’s cocoa, sharp. Dry flavor, dark roast, bitter grain, very grainy.
