Majority of an 8 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Consumed on 5-27-17. Hazy yellow. Small amount of beige head. Funky, pungent aroma. More interesting than good in smell. Tart in flavor. Lime, definitely. Light body. Frothy in the palate. Refreshing. Not bad overall. Intriguing beer.

On tap at the brewery taproom. Pale golden body with a durable, bubbly head. The aroma has plenty of lime, as does the flavor. Too much lime for the delicate blonde ale base. Lots of citrus mid-taste, with lime in the finish. Light watery body with medium+ carbonation.

Tap, brewery. Clear pale yellow body with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is light lime leaf and pale malt, fairly clean. Flavor is clean with lots of lime over a bready malt base. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, light bodied, fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent for what it was.

Cocoa Beach Brewing Company Key Lime Cerveza is a refreshing brew to quaff on a hot day instead of those commercial lagers. Nice lime aroma coming from translucent straw color pour with a head that disappears a little too fast. Taste is like a decent pilsner with strong lime flavor and a clean finish. Compared to other craft beers, Key Lime Cerveza might not be much, but it is a nice upgrade in the right situation like eating Mexican food or hanging out on beach.

Pours a clear golden yellow work fluffy white head. This is like a pale lager with a hint of sweet lime and a bready fresh taste. Corona with lime added? Sounds about what they were going for.

Tap at CBBC. A hazy honey color with a thin white foamy head. Aroma of sweet malts, grain, and hints of lime. Very crisp and refreshing. Light bodied with a nice zest of lime and a bit of hop. Taste like it has fresh ground lime leaves in it. Lime was not over powering, but enough as to let you know it was there. Very enjoyable. I could definitely sit around the pool and drink this all day.

On tap at CBBC, very nice aroma of lime, almost margarita like. Smooth lime bitterness strikes the tongue on a smooth drinkable malt base, medium bodied, but a perfect summer beer that drinks well. Creamy and sweet balance it out, leaves you a bit parched wanting more. Wish I could have taken a growler home...

Draft… Hazy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is discreet, but like the regular Lime Cerveza, I am able to pull some mashy, grainy notes from the glass. The key lime is there, but just barely. I’m a big fan of key lime. Light to medium-bodied and mildly creamy with gentle carbonation. The flavor is refreshing, fruity and well-bittered with a whisper of key lime acidity. The finish is lightly tart.

Draft… Hazy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is subtle, but I am able to pull some mashy, grainy notes from the glass. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with gentle carbonation. The flavor is all juicy fruit and hops, malt and a smidge of lime. A touch tangy with a gentle sorghum note. The finish is tangy as well. For the most part, I hate lime, but its essence is used sparingly and appropriately in this example.

nose is a nice balance of lime and yeast. very cloudy lemon yellow appearance. flavor is of lime but almost becomes a salty, savory mix with a touch of toffee malt. the grain bill and unfiltered body make this easily discardable style redeemable.

on tap-pours a white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is citrus, light malt. Taste is citrus-lime, grain/light malt. Occasional.
