On tap at the source served with a lemon, Strykzone (7714) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Hazy dirty golden color, spicy earthy wheat and light phenols. Decent hefeweizen although it could have been a little cloudier.
Sampled at the brewpub. Hazed and golden with a creamy but thin head. This is an above average hefe. Smooth and rich it has cloves and banana notes. Soft citrus. Just a hintbof cinnamon. AndyW68 (1632) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 22, 2014

I had this out of the tap as part of the sampler at the brewpub. It was ok with good wheat flavor but nothing special. I would enjoy again. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 22, 2010
In short: A competent but ultra-basic brewpub hefe. Does the job. TaktikMTL (7999) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 23, 2010
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy yellow body topped by a very small white head
In long: Nose of bananas and a twist of lemon. Taste of bananas, chewy wheat, lemon peels. Body is slim and the carbonation is smooth. This hefe sticks to the basics and does not even add spiciness like in some other brewpubs. No hops to speak of. Refreshing and forgettable. This is as good as I expected a Hefe to be from this type of brewpub. This is not a beer geek pub. This place is a family pub, and the child who was sitting behind us seems destined to become an opera singer, or more likely a missing person.

Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de banane en arrière goût. (Rating #3167)
