Cloudy golden pour serviced with a lemon which i took out ... lots of banana and some clove in the aroma ....... banana and clove taste very creamy and mellow not overbearing ... left lots of lacing ..... a solid brew from these guys MartinT (9852) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 20, 2009
My Bottom Line:BroSpud (2166) - , Massachusetts, USA - JUL 17, 2009
This straightforward Hefeweizen married crisp hay, light banana esters and bready yeast flavors in a svelte and prickly mouthfeel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slim veil of foam floats atop the hazy yellow.
-The imposed lemon wedge mars the nose.
-Some mild hop bitterness appears in the finish.
-The yeast could have delivered more complexity, methinks.
On tap at the brewpub.
Part of a 7 beer, 7oz each sampler. For some reason I seemed to have a better experience than most of the other reviewers who have visited this place. I found that all the beers I sampled were very well done and true to their styles. None of them were exceptional but, even in the styles that I don’t usually go for I found them to be pretty good. Their hef was probably my least favorite of the 7 samples. It was a good example of the style but I found it to be somewhat boring. boto (2193) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 2, 2009
Draught @ Brewpub: This beer had a very odd color. It came out an opaque cream color with no head and a touch of lacing. The color was downright unappetizing. I inquired about the color and was told that it was just dropped to the bright beer tank and hadn’t settled. I asked if maybe they should have waited until it was ready, but was met with a blank stare. Anyway, it had a nice aroma (once I pitched the lemon). Notes of wheat, citrus and some spiciness The taste is OK: a decent enough hefe with the typical flavor characteristics. I still can’t get over how this looked. It really shouldn’t have been served. thejon375 (414) - Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2009
Probably the best beer they have. Good hazy yellow color with thin white head. Good spice and orange flavor. The only probably with this one is that they serve it with a lemon??? Oh well just take it off and drink.

Draught 7 oz sampler. Cloudy yellow pour with no head. Aroma of bananas, citrus and yeast. Taste of yeast, wheat and faint bubblegum. Nice full finish. My favorite out of the seven sampled. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2007
Cloudy orange/gold with a ring of fine foam around the rim. Flavor is sweet and wheaty, dominated by malts but with a touch of bitter hops. Palate is smooth and crisp. Pretty good. beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2007
On tap at Coddingtons. Arrived at the table in a pounder a cloudy yellow gold with only a thin white ring for a head. Light, pleasant aroma of bananas and lemons. Thankfully, the flavor was a bit stronger than the aroma with lots of banana and lemon. I really didn’t get any of the spice flavor mentioned in the description. A very good and refreshing summer beer. Probiere (992) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2005
Nondescript aroma with a bit of tanginess and yeast. Taste full of bubblegum/banana, almost cloyingly so. Little wheat backbone, oddly. Taste almost strictly from the yeast and its esters. A bit bizarre. Medium body. Grainy aftertaste.
