0.33 l bottle from Tokyu Food Garden, Tokyo. Dark amber - brown. Sweet taste from the sweet potatoes. Not too sweet, though. Sweet as Belgian ales. Not a bad idea at all, but not for hoppy heads.

330 ml bottle. From Estonia. HHOK19. Courtesy of Brandman.
Dark mahogany color with a small light tan head. Dark fruits, vomit, fermented rowan and sickly sweetness in the aroma. Dark fruits, raisins, sweetness and malt in the flavor. Watery. Hides the 7% very well though. But unfortunately quite bad.

A nice amber pour. Flavor is robust, sweet, malty. A little bit of yeast. Wet finish, a little alcohol.

(Bottle) Pours clear mahogany brown with no head. Pleasant aroma - candy / caramel with hints of bread, raisins. Medium body with reasonable carbonation. Taste is sweet but not unbalanced; there’s some tart notes in the foretaste and a hint of bitterness in the finish. The sweetness is caramel toffee. There’s some interesting peppery spicy boozy otes in the mid palate. Pleasant and unusual, wouldn’t know it was sweet potato.

I like the idea. Bit boozy and bity taste a bit sweet but not sure if it is from sweet potato. Overall not that exciting beer.

Can't tell what color. 12o bottle pour somewhere weird in Chicago. White head. Rotten and sour aroma and taste. Gross mostly.

Hermod (7879) - Vantaa, FINLAND - FEB 11, 2016
333ml bottle. Poured mahogany color with a thick white head. Sweet malty, cereals, toast. Had this quite warm, but don’t get that much aroma of it. Flavor has sweetness, caramel malt, biscuity notes and toast. Long sweet finish. Hides 7% well but quite dull. Quite bulky at times.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2016 Bottle from Evil Eye, York. Ruby red coloured with no head. It has a sweet red fruity and toffee flavour with malty notes and more sweet herbal fruit on the finish. Not bad but too high an ABV for the flavour.

Rated la 12.12.2015.

dark amber reddish clear. Sweet dark fruity, potato if youre really looking for it, some red dark berries, dark sweet bread, dry cake. Med bodied, quite smooth nice texture. Good bitters, sweetness. Pretty nice really, if youre in the right mood, if the flavour suits.
