Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Malts are mildly tangy and have a thin creamy sweetness. There is a sweet spud vibe in the mid. More of the white sweet spud than the orange variety. Mild floralness and a whisper of marmalade. Light semi dry finish. Hangs together well enough and it’s quite interesting.
A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light maple notes, light floral hops, very nice. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with light mineral notes, lingering bitterness, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at Coedo Hong Kong. olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2015

Deep red, beige head. Smells of burning copper coins, some sharpness. Taste similar, more treacle. Palate fullish, mostly due to sweetness, carbonation quite high. Finish dry and a little numbing. Covers alcohol quite well. Drinks like 5% more than 7%.
Rerate: Tap (Pudel, Tallinn) (:4:::=)
Deep red, persistent beige head. Sweet caramelly aroma. Even more caramelly taste, some darker savoury aspects, almost a hint of marmite. Medium palate, quite sweet and caramelly, but lightened by decent carbonation. Finish briefly caramelly, but leaves a gentle dry bitterness on the tongue, a brief bite and some tingly resins. Again, the alcohol is covered. Simply overriding the previous score, as the 9 doesn’t seem to follow from the other numbers and words.
Sampled at ABR 2015. Amber color. Aroma is lightly sweet, malt. flavor is sweet, and I know it is there because i looked for it. Like a sweet amber lager. deyholla (11600) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a hazy amber orange with a yellowish tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and light flora with a bit of sweet potato coming through. Flavor does a great job of combining sweet grains, bread and sweet potato. 330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Dark copper color. Small size, dark beige head, stays. Pine needles, dirty, wax, earthy, metallic, copper and some far behind all that in aroma. Very weird aroma. Earthy, starchy, pine needles, roast and grainy taste. Starchy roast in aftertaste. Tingly hops and medium bitterness. Very weird brew. tillmac62 (734) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - SEP 3, 2015
Pours a dark brown red. Below normal head volume with little retention or lacing.
The nose is rather nice, sweet potato, molasses, light caramel and maybe other vegetables or fruit.
Light body with a texture a bit heavier than water. Below normal carbonation with just a bit of effervescence in the finish.
The flavor is unique, but not bad if you like sweet potatoes. Sweet potato becomes the base with a bit of hop bitterness arriving in the middle. As it progresses, the sweetness takes on a molasses note with a hint of caramel.
