Tap at Bakushu Club Popeye, Tokyo. Hazy brownish orange shade. Short head. Caramel and tangerine tones abounding. Kind of a greasy resinous feel that may or may not be hop contributions. Hard to pick out the sweet potato. OK but not something Id really drink again.

Idiosynkrasie (6714) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2014
333ml bottle. Clear reddish, chestnut colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweetish malty and slightly herbal aroma, cautious and hard to describe in more detail; maybe a touch of treacle, unspecific hints of fruit. Taste is moderately sweet malty, slightly spicy, hints of treacle, a minimally salty touch of soy sauce, unspecific hints of fruit, a minimally roasty dry something or other. Shady, inscrutable.
