Bottle arrived chilled direct from brewery, drinking now whilst writing the following day.
Coedo state that kyara has six malts. Unfortunately the possible malt complexity are overshadowed by an uninteresting hop bitterness, that whilst not unpleasant neither stands out or compliments the malts.
Overall a very drinkable beer, but as usual rather dull and un-interesting.
In summary, a hopped up lager. Poured from its 333 ml stubby bottle, the appearance of this brew is a clear golden-orange, topped with a good head of white froth. Aromas are a mix between an IPA and a lager - hoppy floral and fruity notes, with a distinct lager like bready malt aroma. Taste is similar, opening with the citrus fruit notes, followed by some malty sweetness, and then ending with a lager crispness with some light bitterness. Mouthfeel is light, but with carbonation bite, clean and crisp. Interesting hybrid of styles! arnaultp (30) - FRANCE - JUN 10, 2017
Can in Kobe from supermarket below 三宫。Despite the fact that this is probably the style that I like the least, I really dig this beer. This is the first IPL that I’ve had that creates balance in aroma, body and texture.Nose is floral, but not overwhelmingly so, just inviting. Flavor starts with some of the floral hop resins, but segues into round pilsner malt profile with good body and the mildest sweetness--too many beers in this style are excessively dry, imo--not the case with this beer. Finishes with just a bit of bitterness and just enough intriguing floral hop resin to invite another gulp. Stew41 (2021) - Phuket, THAILAND - MAY 1, 2017
Another very solid effort; subdued hop sweetness late and pepper early. PL with character I guess. Tangy citrus fills the palate out late. mzaar (3380) - Varberg, SWEDEN - APR 23, 2017
Can. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas of citrus, malt and wet grass. Flavours of grapefruit, orange marmelade, pine and malt. Bitter and fruity finish.

Dunkel grasiger Antrunk, zunehmend getreidig, Roggen. Dabei ist die Hopfigkeit vollmundig und bestimmt den Geschmack zusehends, geringe Bitterkeit im langen Nachgeschmack. 10/11/10/10//11 FinnIckler (419) - GERMANY - MAR 7, 2017
Bottle from saveure-biere.com. Pours yellow, small head. Nose is Apricot, citrus, way less buttery than other pilsners. Palate is pretty bitter, some bread, some apricot. This has still not convinced me about Pilsner, but still decent Scipio (1044) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 1, 2017
Pours a clear golden with a thinner white head. The aroma is rather subdued, and has floral hops, honey, biscuit, lemon, and hints of caramel. The taste is slightly tart and has a mild bitterness. I find both floral hops, cereal, lemon, minor spice, and mild yeast, and a slight caramel. The aftertaste tastes like yeast, and while it lasts awhile, isn’t all that potent. This one is light to medium in body, with a slick texture, and is average in carbonation. Its pretty easy to drink as well. Not bad. joa_86 (15) - FINLAND - JAN 22, 2017
golden, medium bitterness, very good lager. The bitterness is even and doesn’t take over. daenelyn (79) - - JAN 21, 2017
