golden, medium bitterness, very good lager. The bitterness is even and doesn’t take over. jinroh (1578) - ESTONIA - OCT 15, 2013
0,35 l can. Pours nice light amber with a small head. I love the aroma! I guess this is one of the hoppiest aromas I’ve encountered with a lager so far. But well, this one is supposed to be “india pale lager”. Aroma is fresh, some fruits, melon and freshly cut grass. Taste has two layers, from one side it is mellow and soft, just like eating some marshmellows (altbeit not so sweet) – but it has a bitter kick inside that takes over when the aftertaste comes.Aftertaste is long, dry and bitter. Body is satisfying, not too full but not too watery either. I guess Coedo has been able here to do something pretty special – using a very common lager as a base to create something special. Thumbs up! davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Bottle from K&G. Nice malty beer. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and honey. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head. Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2017
Clear golden, white frothy head and lacing spots. Caramel, citrus, marmalade, malt. Slick feel, medium body, soft, dry finish with citrus, pine, bit spicy, herby. Tasty, fresh. Sircatis (288) - FRANCE - JAN 10, 2017
Découverte dans la Saveur Box. Bière blonde translucide. Très fruitée au nez, jai été agréablement surpris. En bouche on sent le houblon et l’amertume. Bonne bière belle découverte.

Draught at Molto. Pretty medium amber-orange color with lace. Grassy hop nose, light Vienna malt and citrus. Light and clean flavor, crackers, with bread, light caramel and big grassy hop. Very drinkable and nice. A bit of Nelson-esque catpiss too, but just a touch. Much better than the old recipe.

355mL thanks to MrChopin’s little sister. Pours a clear, bright golden. Weak white head. Weak carbonation. Nose is thick orange candies, cheesecloth, some IPA style aromatics, American style citrus hops, fresh dough, bread crust. Taste is quite nice- bitter, grassy, sugar cube, fresh bread, flour, so much snappy pils malt. Long, bitter, dusty finish. Actually very enjoyable, bitter, dry. Impressive. Some rustic grain flavor is quite nice making this pilsener instead of IPA in profile. Bozo_skeleton (1157) - Grenoble, FRANCE - FEB 8, 2014
Enfin une lager qui ne ressemble pas aux autres (je ne doute pas d’en decouvrir d’autres).
Robe paille legerement voilée, tres faible carbo, petit collet fuyant, legere dentelle.
Bottled at Narita Airport. Clear pale bronze colour, small head. Generous grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Citric hops and bready malt. Long bitter finish. Harmonious. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2014
Very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a lot of bubbles rising from the bottom and a nice two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright grapefruity and citrusey hops with a good bright malt nose and a touch of cleanser - very nice and fragrant throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and citrusey hops up front that show very well and leave the palate poised for the smooth malt. Aftertaste clean and slightly sweet, but the malt shines through and especially the bright citrusey hops. Overall, a surprisingly nice beer throughout with a great hop profile for a japanese beer - definitely worth trying if you can find this! I sampled this 333 mL stubby bottle (best by: 15-April-2016) on 04-July-2014 in my hotel room here in Wan Chai, Hong Kong purchased from City’Super! in Harbour City, Kowloon, Hong Kong on 03-July-2014 for HK$29,00.
