Coedo's beer is brewed from selected malts and hops with the technique of beer artisan, braumeister.

With the stark contrast of its clear golden hues and fluffy pure white head, this premium pilsener boasts a crisp refreshing taste. The name "Ruri" is Japanese for the gemstone Lapis, representing the pure clarity this beer abounds in.

Gold brief head. Super starchy aroma. Is this van pur, definitely a super starchy polish macro. Taste copybook, palate ditto, metallic finish ditto. Total cookie cutter eastern european macro lager. Van pur all over.

330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Pale yellow color. Tiny size, beige head, disappears. Malty, starchy, minerals, dirty cloth in aroma. Malty, slightly grainy, hops in taste. Tingly hops in aftertaste. Bland and watery. Pretty meh. Not nasty at least. Neutral brew.

Dim golden relatively still with little foam. Under attenuated sweet. Round sugar affected feel. Herbal earthy hops. Solid bittering. Good.

Clear golden yellow beer, small, quickly diminishing white head. Nose is paper, sweet malt. Flavor is papery malt, some grainy sweetness, finishes with herbal hops. Aftertaste reminds me of extract hops, or maybe it?s just flatly herbal bitter. Mouthfeel is nice, but the flavor is not.

Can from Yamaya, Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, malty aroma. Tastes similar, sweet, malty, maple syrup, slight butter taste. It is OK for a Japanese beer I suppose.

Tap at roundhouse taproom, hong kong. Hazy light yellow color, some white head. Aroma is yeasty, honey, citrus. Taste is same. Little odd but not bad.

Bottle from Masuyos in Asagaya. Poured into a tumbler. Clear golden straw yellow with a nice white head. Grassy aroma with a slight bit of malts on the nose. Medium bodied and mostly well balanced. Average carbonation with crisp finish. Its OK for a pils.

Can from Seiyu. Served in a lager glass. This plisner pours a clear deep gold with a thick fluffy head of foam that leaves goegeous lacing behind. The nose is hay, freshly mown grass, crackery light malts and a small hop bite. Medium bodied with a slick almost oily mouthfeel. The taste is sweeter than I like it a pilsner, sugary light malts with a dry grassy bitter hop finish. More flavorful than a macrobrew pils but too sugary for my tastes.
