Coedo's beer is brewed from selected malts and hops with the technique of beer artisan, braumeister.

With the stark contrast of its clear golden hues and fluffy pure white head, this premium pilsener boasts a crisp refreshing taste. The name "Ruri" is Japanese for the gemstone Lapis, representing the pure clarity this beer abounds in.

Sampled from a bottle. This beer has a light golden colour with a white head. The taste is mildly yeasty and there are floral notes from the use of German hops. Quite delic

Must confess to finding this fairly run of the mill as a pilsner style. TBH I like to keep a track on the beers I drink but dont neccessarily want to think about it too in depth. Middle of the road.

Pyobon (1540) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 2, 2016
(Bottle) Clear golden, tiny white head. Pleasant aroma - grassy with citrus and floral notes. Light bodied, good carbonation. Nice taste, plenty of hops providing crisp bitterness from the start. Fresh light fruity notes, plus some candy hints. Nice Pilsner.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of light straw. Taste has subtle bitterness.

Appearance: small frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. light yellow, clear thin body. Aroma: light hoppy (good quality), flowers and light yeasty. initial flavor:moderate sweet (deliciously floral and fruity).final flavor: moderate sweet and light bitter (quality hops); average duration. Palate: medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation and metallic finish. Well above the Brazilian commercial beer average. Quality hops are tasted throughout the sip and really make a difference. 15s

bottle, golden clear. Golden ppale malty. Slight herby hopsy. Med bodied, bit bitter. Bit dusty finish. Was pretty nice at first, lost some of its charm tho. Feels a bit dull dusty now.

Bottle in Tokyo. Golden body with medium head. Nose is very skunky, funky. Taste is eggy, pilseneresque, malty. Prickly texture. Some sour notes in the finish. Quite a funky pilsener.

Lubiere (14326) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 9, 2015
A hazed golden pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, grassy mineral malt with light German hops, light mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, a light German pils with light hops, light mineral notes, rather pedestrian. On tap at Coedo Hong Kong.

JorgeLee (2301) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2015
On tap in Tokyo 14 Beer Hall. Bright golden colour. Long lasting white foam. Soft mouthfeel. Sweetish, not that bitter. Slightly fruity. An ok lager, seems to be well marketed in Japan.

330ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Gold brief head. Super starchy aroma. Is this van pur, definitely a super starchy polish macro. Taste copybook, palate ditto, metallic finish ditto. Total cookie cutter eastern european macro lager. Van pur all over.
