Tap (Brewpub, Berlin)Marduk (8219) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUN 2, 2016
Sweet caramelly roasted malts. Nice dark dunkel, loose tan head. Pleasantly full palate, sweetish, not sticky. Good sweet roasty malts. Pleasantly hoppy finish - real full-flower herbal hops - it positively hums on the tongue. Very nice one, best of the batch of 5 for me.
Tap (Brewpub, Berlin). Very dark brown color. Small size, yellow-tan head, stays. Roast, caramel, sweet, coffee in aroma. Roast, stale (but not old) coffee, sweet and sugary in taste. Nice roast and dry hops in aftertaste. Goes down easy. Very well done brew. lebermilz (300) - GERMANY - APR 11, 2016
Dark brown, brown, yellowish head.
Malty, a little smoky,
Nearly dry, soft carbonation, long lasting bitterness, probably from the roasted malts. biir (1545) - Berlin, - NOV 20, 2015
Tab at the Brewpub - Malty, somewhat soapy Dunkles. Some Caramel notes, watery body. culchiem (4104) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2015
Draught. Black with a hint of brown and a tan head. Aroma is thin metallic malt. Flavour is ash, a bit sour, dry tart finish, very dry palate. More a burnt schwarzbier than a Dunkel.

Draught @ Schlossplatzbrauerei Coepenick, Gruenstrasse, Koepenick, Berlin Germany 125 55.
Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, light to moderate hoppy, light licorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Tap @ Brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Caramel and fruit and a good dash of metal. Medium bodied. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 10, 2012
The head is robust, the body black, a bit brown. It smells creamy and sour. The taste is darkmalty, a little bit sour, maltaromatic. Bit strange but drinkable. 9/10/9/9/-/9 ganache (6035) - New Jersey, USA - APR 30, 2012
Tap. Dark brown with a pretty, lacing tan head - like that of a good oatmeal stout. Surprisingly thin body but with waves of dark chocolate and subtle roast, very faint nuts and even a memory of licorice. Dry with a suggestion of fruit, smooth, and easily the most repeatable of those I’ve had from here. gunnar (9466) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours dark, almost pitch black with a small tanned head. Aroma of dark roasted malts. Taste is sweeter than suggested by the aroma, thin and watery mouthfeel, still some sweet caramel, with herbal notes, some mint towards the end.
