COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: A refreshing beer, which is a refined interplay between the elderflowers distinctive flavor and aroma hops. The beer is composed of four types of malt including caramel malt, which adds a golden color and gives fullness and sweetness to the beer. For humlekogningen will be used two different types of hops. Aroma hops are hops variety Challenger that was developed back in 1972 at Wye College in England.
Ingredients: Water, barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and elderflower.

12 ounce bottle from a wine shop run by a nice guy who let me have it cheaper than listed because the cash register wouldn’t work. Deep orange look with malt and what I think is strong elderflower.

330ml bottle (Hop Doc, Kaunas). Hazy brown color. Tiny size head, disappears. Sweet, malty, fruity, caramel in aroma. Fish scales, hops, copper, leather in taste. Watery, bland and messy. Uninteresting brew.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Drukket hjemme 9 Des 12. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Brukbart tett skum som varer en stund og fester seg litt til glasset. God fruktig aroma. Minner om overmoden aprikos. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken i samme retning som smake. Blir etterhvert litt syrlig. Godt øl men litt uvariert.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.3%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of elderflowers and fruity and herbal hops. Smooth flavour, elderflowers and malt with toffee notes first, earthy hops in the finish. Okay, but no real masterpiece.

larsga (7630) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 25, 2012
Medium tan head. Amber body with carbonation and little particles. Light earthy perfumy eldeberry aroma with spicy notes. Dry-sweetish mealy elderberry taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish minty elderberry aftertaste with spicy gooseberry notes. It’s OK, but lacking in complexity. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)
