COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: A refreshing beer, which is a refined interplay between the elderflowers distinctive flavor and aroma hops. The beer is composed of four types of malt including caramel malt, which adds a golden color and gives fullness and sweetness to the beer. For humlekogningen will be used two different types of hops. Aroma hops are hops variety Challenger that was developed back in 1972 at Wye College in England.
Ingredients: Water, barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and elderflower.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2014 Unclear golden. Fine aroma of American hops and elderberries. Taste is well-balanced with malt sweetness. Medium hop bitterness in lingering aftertaste. A bit thin mouthfeel. A well-balanced and drinkable beer.

Look; good off white hue, near clear apricot amber body. Aroma; tropical fruits, hops, caramel malts behind, very inviting. Taste; smooth mild roasted malts, stiff and gentle hops, brown bread, a drop of butter - leading to a smooth blended finish. Normal body, soft carbonation. Good brew. (on bottle) I had this beer on a sumnt square, eating one of my favorite snacks, nachos, watching my beautifull wife looking in her first print of her Ph.D.. It was hard not to like this beer under those turms. Very dark orange, hazy and with a large amount of sediment yeast. Sma aroma of caramel, elder and kind-of grassy hops. turns more maltier and dryhopped, lots of mango and pine in taste and finishes rather flat.

Cloudy deep golden with a medium white head and nice lacing. Light aroma of resin/pine, caramel, dried fruit, some off-flavors. Well balanced medium bitterish taste, no astringency. Quite drinkable though overcarbonated and a little sticky on finish.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. Pale ale with Elderflower. Hazy amber beer. Creamy tan head. Soft palate. Mild malt - the Elderflower sweetness is nicely judged. Finishes fresh and dry. Different!
