COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Beczka na Hevelka Craft Beer Festival, Gdańsk (Poland), 27/06/2015. Aromat: słodowy z owocowymi i ziołowymi nutami. Odczucie w ustach: średnie do wysokiego wysycenie. Wyraźna, zbalansowana goryczka. Ogółem: przyjemne piwo z owocowo-ziołowym charakterem,

Draught at Abbots Ale House. Cloudy amber with decent lacing. Sour lemon hops with herbs. Well-rounded but more of a spiced-ale than a pale ale.

Half pint @ O’Connor’s, Uppsala. Overall pleasant, refreshing. Elderflower not that prominent, still a beer and not an e.g. cider.

Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Big elderflower aroma with some citrus and caramel. Sweet malty flavour with lots of elderflower and a hoppy, bitter finish. Lots of everything, and in pretty good balance

This beer has a cool name, and proof that there is truth in advertising it pours a cloudy, light amber color. It smells of yeast and malt and hops, and it has a flavor of soapy hops with a slight hint of apples, possibly acetaldehyde, which I don’t entirely dislike.

Ungstrup (37602) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 30, 2011
Bottled at RBESG Grand Tasting 2010. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt combined with strong notes of spices of which cloves is most dominant. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cloves againg cloves being strongest on a malty background and combined with notes of citrus fruits and hops, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Not bad, but a bit too much for me.
